And yeah, no boys ever asked to wear one. My first year I was the secretary and then my sr. year I was the student body artist. Best job ever. A lot of fun activities, and I made a LOT of pastel chalk posters for every conceivable even under the sun. I actually had crappy jeans at school in my locker that I had to wash each week (kind of like gym clothes I guess) because they had so much chalk on them from kneeling on the floor in the hallways coloring. (That soudns like I'm 6). So yeah, no lettering. But I did get to draw a lot which was a lot more meaningful and useful in my life now than a sport.pinksuedeshoehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18002905706141198125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630979976490932348.post-41006716821402425142012-02-24T03:14:56.368-07:002012-02-24T03:14:56.368-07:00I must have been the odd girl out, because I never...I must have been the odd girl out, because I never wanted to wear some hunk's letterman jacket, in fact I couldn't even stand all the jocks. But I did guess home ec for yours, at the same time asking myself, can you even letter in that? I did not know you could. Otherwise, I could of and should have gotten a letter in that. Good one!!

Um, no.

Back in the day, in a school system far, far away, one could only letter in sports. I played tennis...badly...because I wanted people to quit bugging me about basketball, at which I sucked even worse (though we did not even have a BB team until I was a senior...at which point I was supposed to, I dunno, magically turn into Magic Johnson?)

If I could have lettered in clerical office practice or other nerdy stuff, I might have. In our High School during my time you could letter in the Arts which included music, art and drama. You had to do lots of the different choral groups and things and it took a ton of time. I came close.Samanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06783841817844988520noreply@blogger.com
