I have had one for years and will NEVER go back! You put the butter in the bell side and then turn it over into a crock with a little bit of water in the bottom. This makes a seal over the butter and keeps it fresh so you can keep it on your counter for days (weeks if it is cool enough) and always have soft butter at hand...You can google it. ;)Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09061959219863893253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630979976490932348.post-65576867703419063462012-01-17T16:07:24.136-07:002012-01-17T16:07:24.136-07:00The butter dish story is amazing! The starch recipe sounds great, but I don't drink, and none of the people I hang out with do either! I wonder if something else will work.

Thank you for a couple of good smiles today!Susan https://www.blogger.com/profile/09159163720029661287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630979976490932348.post-37194356041099112182012-01-17T16:00:49.558-07:002012-01-17T16:00:49.558-07:00I've run into that very same problem at the bi...I've run into that very same problem at the big box store that will remain unnamed.

Thanks for the starch recipe. The place where I bought the humidifier didn't carry filters. I checked 2 of that same store. So I went to the 'blue store' and the shelf was empty. The lady with the scanner said there were some in the store about the same distance but the other direction from my house. So I went there. The shelf was empty. I asked for help, and the nice lady went to the 'back' and brought some out. Turns out, wrong filter.
I found some online. By the time I got them, my kid's cough was gone and I didn't need the humidifier anymore.

I love Ellen! I never get to watch it, though. It's on when I'm getting kids from school and helping with homework.Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09302411325907934749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630979976490932348.post-24977588266137624462012-01-17T10:36:58.698-07:002012-01-17T10:36:58.698-07:00Now see, if you lived in Wis. you wouldn't hav...Now see, if you lived in Wis. you wouldn't have to drive all over town for the ingredients to the magic spray starch, because there is usually a liquor store within walking distance...well, at least from my house (two actually). Those little "travel size" vodka bottles are probably about 2 oz. Unless you want to make a whole batch of "slushie mix," with the leftovers from a big bottle. Not that I would have that recipe or anything, LOL.Paulettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06181665241824945247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8630979976490932348.post-58806032380200208872012-01-17T07:28:52.559-07:002012-01-17T07:28:52.559-07:00That video was pretty funny.
