I love it when the 4th of July falls on a Sunday because it means that we spend three days celebrating our country instead of just one. My heart swells with gratitude when I think of the huge blessing it is to live in a country where you can criticize the very foundations of the freedoms you enjoy without fear for your freedom or life.

You nailed it Elizabeth. Our country is very special in that way. Something else that has struck me, is how we all adhere to the principles of our nation and peacefully pass the torch on after each election without violence or bloodshed.
