Apron № 99: Honey Bees

Each day comes bearing its own gifts. Untie the ribbons. -Ruth Ann Schabacker

I started making aprons in July of 2008. I completely fell in love with this pattern and decided that I wanted to make aprons for my sisters and sisters-in-law for their birthdays. Then I added some really good friends and then friends I volunteer with at church and then I added pretty much everyone I know to my list of aprons. And now here we are, two years later, and I've just finished up apron № 99. It is in the mail on its way to the birthday girl. This apron is so bright and cheery. The picture doesn't really do it justice.

This is my first finish for August and I'm liking up at a couple of fun sites where lots of creativity is going on. Check them out!

{Hmmmm . . . I wonder if I should do something special with my 100th apron? Something which may or may not involve a giveaway Mondayish. You know bloggers and ‘events’ and giveaways. I’m just saying.}

Oh, that is just SO CUTE!! I love both that bee print and the black & white dots. The gathered pocket and the rickrack are nice details.
