Snowball Night: Week 11

Any day spent sewing, is a good day. -Unknown

Since I posted one of my most embarrassing {at the time but makes a great story now} moments on my usual Snowball Quilt update day, I'm posting a bit late this week. It was tempting to just skip this week, but I like having a sort of 'day of accountability' for this project, otherwise, I might not work on it like so many other of my Ph.D quilts. This week's progress isn't that exciting, but it is progress.

I got the second corner piece put on each block, sewed together all the left-over bits I cut off into half-square triangles, and then sewed those to the left-over corners from last week. At this point, those little left-over bits don't look like much and I'm starting to wonder if the extra work is worth it. But once they get sewn together, they look adorable, so I'm going with it. I'm looking forward to having my own snowball quilt to snuggle under on snowy days.
